I am looking to whittle my cart down to < 30 bucks…seeing as how i am impulsivlely pushing the buy button itunes just because it’s so damn easy…

I’ve not used any of the others apart from the Mixmag code which I think is the newest. Have you already used it? Think it was MXMGJLY

I dig through several genres: techno, tech house, deep house and house and add songs that I think are average - awesome in the checkout. Then after I have amassed many tracks in the checkout I will go back and listen again until I whittle the tracks down to a select few.

At the moment I have 55 (£92) in the checkout and about 150 in the hold bin

so far not bought anything from beatport. used to only use djtunes, then also sometimes juno and recently using audiojelly. most things i want seem to be on audiojelly now and the price is awesome, esp for wav i don’t buy all that much anyway. only a total of 289 tunes in my itunes atm.

same price as the mp3’s - every track is 0.99 eur you can also get 25% of your first order and then 5 free tracks for each subsequent order so long as you spend over 25eur. i like the website format too. http://www.audiojelly.com/news. i’ve bought 36 tracks from them so far this month, i suspect from here on in my tracking buying will increase a bit at these prices. i can’t find all tracks that i want there, but couldn’t wth djtunes either and i can find most tracks i want. most things i can’t find on audiojelly i can get from junodownload tho.

I like this approach, however I used to use it more when I was buying just vinyl. When I buying MP3 I was a little more reckless as I could buy 3-4 tracks for the same price as 1 12". So now, to keep the quality control I fill my basket to £80-£100 with tunes I like and then whittle it down to £50 (which is my maximum spend on any one occasion) with the tunes I think are the best.
