as a general rule for all effects… don’t overdo it. just do what sounds right to you.
add all of the reverb. turn all knobs to their maximum value, and if at all possible put another reverb after that with all knobs at their maximum.
this will surely give you the pro sound you seek
if there was a way to give this post more reverb, i would
lol
Just a minimum and don’t leave it on the whole time.
i feel lighter already.
on topic: just use it as an fx and remember tracks you play have been already mastered, so they don’t need any extra space emulation, unless it’s used for creative purposes
it need more cowbell
Feel free to really work the room with your reverb.
canon1nd.
Why don’t you lay down that reverb right now.

Try adding reverb to Acapellas and non-beat sections of tracks you’re playing.
Large clubs and Halls are oddly not designed for modern EDM, so adding more reverb to the hall is going to make things a lot more messy for people to hear.
+1
This.
Reverb, like all FX should be used sparingly, if you leave it on at all time, your mix is going to sound like sheit.
This +10000 why do you need reverb? If it’s to beef up tracks you obviously need to get different tracks, I’ve seen a lot of people adding reverb to try and thicken up 128kb tracks which just makes them sound messy, and on a big system you really hear it.
On a decent system the room will be eq’d properly so you need to use fx very subtly unless you want it to sound like a train wreck and really stand out.
Last time I played on a function 1 system I noticed my filter was at like 1% I decided to drop it to 0 which is a very subtle change and the difference was immense, bass kicked in and sounded like a fuck up. Be car full with what you do on a big system.
