How to / can you assign..
this is not really a mapping question, but i didn’t know where to post this,
Is there anyway to use the effects on the sample decks (traktor 2) ? if so then how, I’m a little confused. 
Yes, just like you would a track deck. If you can’t see the fx on buttons for the sample slots then go to preferences->mixer and fix your view.
As a note if you have 4 samples loaded the FX will be applied to all of them. AFAIK there is no way to apply FX to individual sample slots.
Yups, the effects or only on the masterbus of the channel. So all sample decks get the same effect.
Don’t know why you’d want fx on your samples tbh.
