How to configure TPro to simulate cdj on VCI-100

How to configure TPro to simulate cdj on VCI-100

my request might seems to be odd, but I am actually looking for a way to emulate the CDJ (or whatever cd turntable) mixing style on traktor pro (with everything mapped on the VCI-100)

I am not looking to start any debate on auto beatmatching or whatever, but I really like to beatmatch my track by myself, I have the feeling to really go into the groove.

the basics functions I am looking for is to emulate the Play/Pause that will create a little loop, and being able to move that loop forward and backward using the plates of the VCI-100.
Then when the track is playing, I could give some nudges using the plate, to sync the track if they are getting out of sync, like on a CDJ
Am I really clear ?!

I have found that kind of configuration for T3 on dj tech tools site, but can’t find it for TPro.

I really want to kick my CDJ’s + mixer out to replace them by a tiny VCI-100 and save some room.

I have been looking around and cant find anything, any help appreciated

use the DJTT mapping and turn off Scratch mode. Simples.

Thanks, I can nudge the track by disabling scratch mode.
but for the rest, I don’t think this is that simple. I am using DJTT mapping.

basically on the cdj-200 there is a play/pause button and a cue, the platter and the tempo. I would like to map all those control on the VCI-100

to simulate the play/pause button I guess I need to start a 1/2 loop on the current position.

what would you expect the button “cd mode” in traktor to do?

having a bad day ?

how about a ty? i help you after your passive-aggressive post. be happy you didn’t just get a RTFM.

Today seems to be another bad day for you…no luck :disappointed:

But seriously, because you are trying to help, I should let you talk to me the way you want ? You want me to be thankful when you are mean to me?

My advice, breathe and try not taking yourself too seriously.

Oh and thank you for your mercy

Love

Now now people, simmer down…

Very simply, for a play pause, in controller manager:

Add in > Transport > Play Pause.

I would also suggest that you read the manual.

Thank you, I am going to try the solution you propose.

and I am going to read the manual
I am a Serato Scratch Live user and want to move to a more compact set up. Itch seems not to propose as much as Traktor. I am trying to know what would be the best option for me.

It’s not like I am never reading any manual, I have been through some of my plugin synth and effect one’s.
But I admit that I wanted to know if Traktor could be a possible option to replace my cdjs, before starting reading the whole book

Thanks again, I appreciate your friendly help

rtfm already. this is pathetic

look, on this forum we’re big on tolerance. Sometimes questions seem a bit simple, and the OP should be encouraged to read the manual. As I suggested, fine. There’s no need to be a dick about it and use insulting language.
