How to connect my Traktor Kontrol S4 to Pioneer DJM-900

I’m doing a new gig this weekend and wanted to know how to connect my Traktor Kontrol S4 to the Pioneer DJM 900 mixer (this is the mixer the club has). Can I plug into one of the Channels on the back of the mixer and if so, which one? If so, do I have to change any of my settings in my software, Traktor Pro 2? Or can I connect the S4 to my computer and then USB from my computer to the mixer?

Any help is much appreciated.

Connect it to one of the channels. Whichever one is free. Set that channel to ‘line’ or ‘cd/line’. An easy way to check without disturbing the previous dj is to have ur s4 playing music withvolume fader up. On the djm900, have the volume fader down, but engage the headphone button. Youll see the led lights lighting up if its getting a signal. Away u go!
