how to disable the crossfader in tp2
Hey DJTT! Had a great gig last night but at one point my headphone cord hit the crossfader on my vci-100se causing me to stand there in confused silence for about 10 seconds. I hardly ever use the crossfader so I want to just deactivate it. How do I do this? Is there a midi function? Thanks!
if you look in your midi mappings, find the x-fader and just delete it
You can do that or you can map a button somewhere that turns the crossfader on and off.
Or you can just deassign your decks from the crossfader with the mouse
Or you could do what I did and accidentally snap the crossfader straight after buying it
What do you think the Gaffer will say to that?
gaffer tape ! or assign the xf to something cool like fx d/w.
Or be more careful with your headphone cord…

Klink te naby aan die ander woord wat ons nie meer mag gebruik nie!

So basically you can just turn the crossfader off all together by clicking on the deck letters on each side in Traktor or you can assign midi commands to control whether it’s on or off.
Delete the midi map. Easiest thing to do.
Ons moet versigtig wees met sulke woorde Boet, die mense hou nie daarvan nie

I once restarted my computer 3 times trying to figure out why i couldnt play on deck A… then i realized the crossfader was to the right.
disabled that shit. (but i did it on the s4 using shift and deselecting the 1/2 at the top under the gains
