How to keep S4 clean?
How do you guys keep your S4 clean or clean it? It seems to attract an S load of dust, particles, dirt and smudges.
Keep it covered when not in use, preferably with a Decksaver. If you don’t wanna spend the money, then just cover it with a towel or something around the house (clean, of course) when it isn’t being used.
As for cleaning it, I use a small microfiber rag that is used for cleaning sunglasses. It will not scratch the surfaces. A can of compressed air will help clean the faders and such.
the best thing i use for cleaning that kind of stuff is a brush, dry clean it sweeps every corner of dust and other things.. and maybe a vacuum cleaner
Cover it.
I keep it in my S4 flight case, and when I try to clean with any type of cloth it leaves smudges that look like scratches! But whatever, I’ll deal with it.
I keep it inside the plastic bag when not in use, clean with a microfibre cloth when needed.
i agree!! it collects dust like no. other.
Just after I got the S4 we purchased a bedding set (not the set pictured here). Out of this I cut 3 three of the panels. The top panel had the handle and I used that for the S4 (because it was too unwieldy without the handle), the other 2 panels were used for my TTs. Total cost: $150 + free bedding!
Oh, and compressed air works a charm but honestly, covering it up is the way to go…
And DJ with gloves on - no fingerprints 
. Kidding guys, not THAT anal . We have a product in SA for general cleaning (no solvents or abrasives) with an antistatic. Works a charm.
