How to KICK my beats

I need some help
I am looking for some kind of foot pedal to trigger the loop recorder in Traktor, but I have no idea on what I have to respect.
I’ve seen it before in Ian’s videos
Can you tell me what did I buy for this purpose.
Boss DS-5U. Don’t get the L model, otherwise you’ll have to step on it twice.
- place beats headphones on floor…
- move foot in swinging motion until you continue to kick your beats (using the inside of your foot may cause better results)
- repeat if necessary
