How to make this bass?
I want to know how I can make a bassline sounding like the following tracks…
and especially..
A pretty basic tech house sounding bass admittedly. I can making something similar using a simple sine but it doesn’t sound any where near as good.
Any ideas?
I mainly use Sylenth1 or Operator and only have a basic level of knowledge with synths so it’d be great if you could give a step by step explanation

I know for a fact that Riva Star uses 808, 909, etc type of instruments and samples. For his bass, he usually will use one of those style kicks, remove the attack and click and all the high ends and uses that as his basses. Obviously eq, compression, etc plays a huge role as well.
