how to set table to stay when turning it with finger

Hey,

I was wondering if there was a way to set the scratch to stay at a certain part of the track without going back to the beginning of the song. In other words, when you take your finger off the scratch it stays on that part of the song.

PS; I was also wondering the what the purpose of Echo and Slice are in the most recent mapping update?

Push the pause button? Set a cue point?

i think what he wants is like what (i think) torq has and the CDJs

he wants to move the platter back and forth and when he lets go he wants it to go back to a certain point

or to go to that point when he touches it

but i doubt the OP has touch sensitive jogwheels…
