How to stream video wireless in a dark enviroment with acceptable quality
I want to stream video with acceptable quality (at lest 2 MP) in a dark environment and be able to carry the camera/webcam/whatever around.
What ideas come to your mind to achieve this?
My current best idea is to have attach a webcam or cam to a helmet and carry a netbook in a backpack around.
Depends if you want it live or just record for later playback.
live for recording I could just use a camera.
iPod touch using Qik. If your due a phone upgrade then an iPhone will do it over 3G if you dont like iPhones try one of the Droid phones.
That won’t suffice. Their quality is good enough, but they can’t handle the dark environment.
They’re going to be just as good as if not better than any web cam. The only way to get better quality is increase the size of the CCD chip in the camera you’re using. AFAIK the only way to do that would be to tether a regular video camera or still camera with video capability to a laptop like you said. I know there’s a hack to make some of the Canon G series cameras work like a web cam.
