How to use the direction keys at Traktor ?
Hey all ;
Yesterday at the club ı see that the dj using traktor pro and when he choose the song he pushes left or right direction button on his laptop to put that song to the deck.Like, if he pushes the left direction key the song uploaded to the Deck A.He only uses 2 decks and ı wanna to that too ? Anybody know how ?

It is on the keyboard mapping poster you get with traktor… something like ctrl left or right
He may have custom mapped it. It’s not difficult. There’s a section on mapping in the the manual if you’d care to read it. And there’s probably some tutes on Youtube as well. I can’t give you the specific mappings at the moment because I haven’t got Traktor in front of me and it would require explaining some concepts that will be better stated in the manual/Youtube
On mine it is shift+arrow key (but I can’t remember if it is the same on the default mapping).

Don’t you have a Kontrol S2? Those functions are present on the controller.

That’s exactly how I do it. mapped the left to load deck a and right to load deck B. And somehow when I’m drunk i reverse them in my head LOL
I also use shift+left and shift+right to copy left and right to the other deck
