How to use traktor without decks
Hi all, I run traktor scratch at home through an audio 6, I generally use my mixer, turntables and an x1, when I’m working away I would like to use just my x1 and my plug in the headphone port pc speakers, I was trying to find how to do do it, but had no luck at all getting the sound to come through my speakers? Basicly Iam trying to use traktors mixer but all of the settings in preferences wouldnt let me listen to the 2 at once, wonder if i need any more hardware to get going, I really don’t wanna carry my mixer about, there must be an easy fix
youre going to need a 2 channel sound card of some kind to listen to one deck while playing another. you might want to consider a z1 , it is basically made for what you want to do and the x1 and z1 compliment each other nicely. you will also probably need at least some cheap portable speakers for the main out.
You could send the master out the left channel and the cue out the right channel and check the mono boxes. Not optimal but…
