Every thursday from now on i’m running a minimal/tech/funky house night with the kit focus being on controllers. Doing this in Kings Lynn at a bar called Ciao.
it’s guaranteed for next 5 weeks, after that depending on how it’s built up should go permanent - giving that the owner and promo guy are throwing a lot of attention at it it should be all good. there’s gonna be fit promo girls running around to

Especially after all the posts on the board about promoters being against controllerism and whatnot, to have a controller-focused night is v good for the community I think

yeah it is pretty cool of them, best bit is the booth is bare, so they didn’t really have a choice when it came to what kit i used, lol. did hint at a laptop being present when i first approached them and it didn’t seem to phase them.
