I don’t know how to use my Midi Fighter 3D
Can someone please help me figure out the Midi Fighter 3D? I have MF Utility and Ableton live 9 but I can’t seem to be able to map sounds to the actual arcade buttons on the Midi Fighter 3D.
Setup-wise it’s pretty simple as shown here. Make sure you have the MF Utility CLOSED before opening Ableton if you are working in Windows. To test it simply load any Drum Rack and arm the track, you should hear it playing as you press the buttons on the 3D.
Regarding mapping sounds the easiest way around it is simply dragging the sounds you want to use to a Drum Rack in Ableton. The lower left button on the 3D’s 1st bank is C1.
