I got conned. :disappointed:

Sold my ddm4000 and my audio2 bc I bought an scs.1m.
I got it from a music shop nearby..

they said I could return it if necessary.
what happened?

faulty soundcard outs, broken knobs that need resoldering, and burnt out lcdā€™s.

now what?

I call, no answer.
I email, no response.
I show up, theyā€™re closed.

anything I can do?

I originally saw the posting on ebay but met the seller in person who is a representative from the store..

My dad bought a video camera off of a guy on ebay, and when he got it, it didnā€™t work. He tried to get ahold of the guy but no luck. So he reported him to ebay, and ebay reimbursed him for it and went after the guy. Iā€™d say report him to the bay and get your money back. You will probably be able to keep the gear.

^He didnā€™t purchase through eBay, so they canā€™t and wonā€™t do anything.

@Asand: did you pay with creditcard? And by closed, you mean theyā€™re out of business?

I actually left them a negative report on ebay and sent them an email telling them they were getting reported. THAT got their attention.

@Benny, no not for good, theyre just always leaving theyre shop hours before their actual closing time so I never make in time bc of work.

they asked if I wanted to trade for something else. lol NO!

Ah my mistake. I reread the post. I would still report him to ebay if he has other auctions. No need to have anyone else conned.

Yeah you would have a lot more recourse if you bought it from ebay. Sorry that totally sucks man.

go down to the police station and file a report. thats the first step.

also I would post the name of the store and name of their ebay name on rip off report and also a ā€œbewareā€ post on every DJ forum you can find. Here, NI, DJForums, etc. Word of mouth is the number one form of marketing. So fuck these guys.
