Being charged for telling people that water was coming out of the taps… as an april fools joke

I’m ashamed to live in FL.

time to bust out a good old 'murica

DAYUM! That’s like being sued for sexual harassment just for asking a woman if she’d like to masticate comestibles. :stuck_out_tongue:

pretty much

I like the joke  And damn stupid panicking people… I hope the charge will be dropped!

Wow, dumb-asses - if someone tells you on radio your water has a chemical in it (even if the chemical is actually the water itself) they deserve bumming.

/thread

Not even that. Why the fuck is the county even contemplating suing the radio hosts. Can’t blame them for having stupid citizens. If anything, they need to realize that they need to stop cutting education…

Disagree, suppose you need clean water for a medical reason then you hear that on the radio - I know it’s another name for water but I would be hesitant to use it …

Bum em big time

They did nothing illegal. They said there’s water in your water supply.

Your fault for not knowing the molecular name of water. This is a CORE chemistry fact.

You’d think that with all the chain emails circulating around red states and counties using “dihydrogen monoxide” as a bad equivalence to support gun ownership rights, that the people in this demographic would already be wise to this.

Maybe it’s my fault for assuming they could read what’s in the chain mails?

This is the best April Fool I have ever heard!

Everyone that fell for it should feel completely dumb. But they should NOT be allowed to get angry at the people that fooled 'em.

Dumb people MUST suffer - otherwise, there is no benefit to being intelligent!

+1 hahahaha

Don’t get out much then do you.

i’m stoked.
they were really thinking about charging them for… telling an intelligent joke??
Rather blame it on the people’s stupidity…
