I have fallen in love with DJ’ing all over again… (My set up)

I started out on vinyl about four years ago and quickly made the jump down to the Hercules RMX because I felt vinyl wasn’t for me since I couldn’t afford an SSL box at the time and eventually the Traktor S2 & Midi Fighter. Had a lot of fun, spun at some parties, but I never really felt like I was truly mixing and pushing myself to my full potential. Honestly, I felt like I was using toys. Now that I have been putting work into my production and want to be taken seriously in the EDM scene in Arizona this fall (moving for college), I decided it was the perfect time to upgrade to industry standard gear. Been spinning on these for three days now and have absolutely fell in love with the art of DJ’ing all over again. Not making this thread as a controller hate thread at all, just stating my personal feelings. Best decision I have made as a DJ.

You say that you “made the jump” from Vinyl to the RMX? You must have had really crappy tables or else that was a “jump down”

Lulz, I meant I went from one to the other. I could jump off a building and it would still be making a jump despite going really, really far down. Don’t criticize my words brah, appreciate my gear

Anyhow, you’ve come a long way from the rmx. Congrats on having a better set up than many clubs :thumb up: Wish some of my friends had something like this for me to come over and play with.

Looks like you just robbed me (except the pool table though). Do u play from the USB or use the HID feature?

USB. Feels good not having to worry about a software lagging, crashing, etc. Sure, it RARELY happens, but it was always a possibility before. Now I am going to be at the point that I can show up to any club in America with a usb in my pocket and be able to play a gig, which feels good.
