I just bought the vinyl revolution pack USB 20 with a DJM-404 mixer, and there seems to be some disagreement between us

The way it looks from my p.o.v:

Both decks are working properly when playing only one at the time. But when i play both simultaneously they interrupt eachother, no matter where the crossfadior is set (1-2). And there is a slight difference in the volume between the channels.

Asio4all is already installed.

I have a std. internal soundcard, and the USB soundcard connected.
Deck1 is connected to the USB. When spinnig only deck1 everything
looks ok. Same with the opposite deck But when spinning deck1 with the crossfader set to 1 and then when starting deck 2, i`m suddenly listening to both songs simultanously even if the crossfade is set to 1..
Help?..Anyone?

Posting the configuration report as well…

There seems to be some misunderstanding here. This Site right here is djtechtools.com, this site is dedicated to digital djs. We develop performance tools and teach cutting edge techniques that enable creative expression.

You bought equipment from a brand called “dj-tech”. It has nothing to do with this site here.

But anyways, we might help you none the less.

Lets start with your setup. Do you only spin Vinyl or do you use a computer program. If so, wich one? What exactly does the manual from your Turntable set say regarding how to do the setup? What kind of PC do you have (Processor,RAM)?

btw welcome to the Board

Vinyl revolution USB 20, Mixvives

I’m using a program called Mixvibes. Not running regular vinyls, but vinyl revolution pack USB 20. So through a computerprogram.
Situation is;

I’ve got both decks set to channel 1 and 2 in the program. Still the sound is coming through the same channel (eigther 1 ore 2).

The way it looks from my p.o.v:

Both decks are working properly when playing only one at the time. But when i play both simultaneously they interrupt eachother, no matter where the crossfadior is set (1-2). And there is a slight difference in the volume between the channels.

It could maybe be the souncards interrupting eachother…? somehow…? The sounds play over eachother.

Any idea?

if you have a problem with a program “mixvibes” why don´t you ask for support on their website: http://forum.mixvibes.com/viewforum.php?f=268&sid=c9440ae04a04bb3d9281c1fd9290f061

…just my 2 cents:wink:

he allready did  and this isnt a traktor forum neither but still 85% of all DVS questions are traktor related.

i didn´t want to be unfriendly…just thought it was obvious! i don´t own any djtech products, so i can´t help you out..maybe use the search function over there to solve you problem?

cheerz.

thanxs anyway for responding. sorry for misnderstanding..
Its all new for me this so i was misled by the name.

Still struggling with the problems, so a bit demotivated for this mixingbuisness at the moment.. oh well..
have a good day:slight_smile:

sup parafrodo, was looking up your package and wanted to confirm

–you have both record players hooked to your pc with usb

–you have the output from you pc’s soundcard to channel 1 on mixer

–you have the usb soundcard going to channel 2 on the mixer

–you have the program configured to use 2 soundcards (1 for each deck) i think you have them both going out of ch1 outputs somehow

this link has a pic and a pdf instructions book

http://www.djtechpro.com/product_detail.asp?product_id=196&sub_id=98

the downside to you kit is you have single channel soundcards.. down the road you will want a 2 channel soundcard because right now they are different volume levels(like you said) and different quality

hope this helps… let us know
