You gotta see this folks… (this is not a Facebook scam- trust me)
I just saw this and it is no bullshit. I had to do a double take until I read the details.
Apparently, there are some hasty would-be S4 users out there that are bidding $650 for a S4 installation disc! LMAO

Even the seller noted that it does NOT include the S4 controller.
It will cost $2.99 to ship the disc to the lucky buyer, but for $650, don’t you think the seller should throw in FREE SHIPPING !!!
Why would you sell just the disk? If you need the S4 to run it I’m sure if you provide NI with your serial they will either send you another disk or get you a download somehow. There’s been copies of the software floating all over the internet but it doesn’t matter as it doesn’t work without the S4. He was obviously trying to pull some kind of shenanigans.
Actually you don’t need the S4 controller to run the S4 software. I have been using my Traktor S4 (software) on the run with a X1 controller regularly.
OMG. Priceless! As a seller, I’d feel too bad for the dimwit who won and refund their money. It’ll be interesting to see what feedback the seller gets. Hehe.
As i stated the other day in my post about the unit and software bundle… we are going to see a hell of a load more of these on ebay and in the forums. People will already have traktor when they buy an s4 so they wont need the software so will sell on ebay. Ebay will be flooded with the things.
I gave up on Ebay after trying to sell my Mixtrack + Traktor Pro. Everything was clearly worded and copied from the Numark website with link included and stated that I’d be including the TP upgrade with the sale. People kept running up the bids thinking I was selling the Mixtrack Pro. I edited the description with bold and giant text ATTENTION THIS IS NOT THE MIXTRACK PRO THIS IS THE… even after that I sold it twice to people who sent me sob stories about how they thought they were bidding on the Mixtrack Pro and I let them back out of the deal, not the 3rd time though. I’m never going back to Ebay after that, I’d rather throw my shit in the garbage or donate it than deal with people on there.
I couldn’t sell something to someone if they truely didn’t want it. The final sale only went through because I didn’t respond to their email complaining about not knowing what they bid on. I was so pissed I decided to ignore the email and just give the Mixtrack to my nephew. A few days later they Paypaled me and I shipped it out.
On a similar note I had a friend who found a football in his backyard. He signed it and put it on Ebay with the title of Officially Autographed Football By (his name). His name was nowhere near anyone famous but the bidding quickly reached a $1000 before Ebay pulled it.
So after having a discussion about this in another thread and everyone saying just selll the software if you dont need it … were now going to get reported for selling it if we try?
