I need a reliable USB hub to use on Macbook Pro please

Any recommendations? I have already tried a few and I dont want to waste more money on hubs that might not work. Id rather pay the extra to get the recommended hub here to South Africa

I’m using the 7 port version of the D-Link recommended in the article

Thank you very much
There are several recommended hubs in this article. Which one are you referring to?

D-Link…7 Port.

AFAIK there’s still only one chipset that does 7-port hubs. I have 2 from different makers that seem to work just fine no matter what I do with them.

im using a cheap $13 dollar POWERED belkin 4 port USB hub. i think the key word is POWERED. mine works just fine although i do need to find a larger one now.

Plugable USB Hub (http://plugable.com)

7 port version of the D-Link is one of the best. I have built USB copy machines with those where Mac Minis had 5 of them connected. Never had a data problem in any live situation and cheaper then a DIY solution.

Kensington powered 4port USB hub

I have a 7 port Belkin.

OK Thanks everybody. I was a using a 4 port powered D-Link and still had drop outs on Traktor the other night. I have ordered the 7 port hub , just in case its the hub itself that is faulty. (hopefully its that and not my ports)
