I need help setting up Scratch Track VST

Hello

I hope you guys/gals can help. Okay, so today I just received my first traditional turntable along with all the components to hook it up. I think I’m very close to getting it up and running with Scratch Track.

I have a Stanton T.62 direct drive turntable, along with Serato Scratch Live timecoded vinyl. I have my turntable connected, and grounded to a Behringer PP400 phono preamp. I have RCA to TRS 1/4 cables running from the phono preamp to my audio interface (Stienberg UR28M) using inputs 3 and 4 on the interface, as inputs 1 and 2 are Hi Z inputs for my microphones. I am running Cubase 7.5 64bit on Windows 8.1

Out of desperation, I connected the turntable to the HiZ inputs and only got a high pitched sound, which is the timecoded signal, I believe; but still no control over the actual waveform within Scratch Track.
Interestingly enough, the timecode signal is coming through the channel when I connect it to line inputs 3 and 4, but I still can’t scratch the waveform within the plugin but i can record random scratch sounds within my DAW even though there is no music just the signal. I selected the correct vinyl type and enabled input monitoring. Another caveat that’s been bugging me about this troubleshooting, is that I can’t get a signal within Scratch Track. On the website’s Vinyl Setup Guide here: Setup Guide – Vinyl Setup - Stagecraft Software

There is an arrow that points to the “Vinyl In” button with a signal indicator next to it asking the user to verify a signal is coming through to the plugin. There is no activity in my plugin’s indicator, even though the plugin is on the same channel the signal is coming through to, and there is activity on that channel’s volume strip, so I know the signal is coming through on some level. Any help with this issue would be great. Sorry if this is a double post, I didn’t see my first one go through.
