I NEED HELP: Step by step - how to install (for noobs)

Ok so firstly. i have a mac, i use traktor pro s4, i have an s4, i now have a midi fighter. Midi fighter doesnt come with installation instructions.

Basically i just want to get the instant gratification mapping working on my mac (which has latest version of OS and latest version of tractor pro s4). What am i doing wrong?

What i have tried:

Attempt 1.

  • plugged in midifighter and opened up traktor. played a song. button mashed the midifighter. does nothing? closed everything and went to website.

Attempt 2.

  • downloaded MFUpdate for the mac. moved to desktop. opened MFUpdate. followed instructions where you hold corner buttons down then plug it in. MFUpdate tells me i am fully updated. Open up traktor - button mash - nothing again! Close everything and go back to website

Attempt 3.
Downloaded 4 banks update. unsip to desktop. Mac doesnt know what a .tsi file is. what the heck do i do with this?

Please help!

wait i imported the tsi in “preferences” seems to work now :smiley:

i import in preferences. still doesn’t work. =(

it says please connect and select an audio device after i try and import
