i need help with mapping XDJ-R1 with TRAKTOR

hey guys im new here and im glad i found this forum

i have the xdj-r1 which i am trying to map to traktor, i have followed the pioneer video and imported the mapping tsi, i actually used the decks last weekend but problem i was having was that channel 1 was not changing volume at all so i had to control that through master level knob, so i got through the night

The problem right now though is that i am not getting any response from my xdj-r1 through Traktor, i know this has probably been asked a thousand times, i even looked for search function but couldnt see it, i must be blind.

So im sure there are traktor experts here that can guide me which i would really appreciate, anything you ask me as to what ive done i can tell you, basically where im at is nothing is happening no matter what button i press on the controller.

Can anyone help?

Hey lazavas,

Saying you don’t have any response in Traktor might got to do with incorrect midi port assignment.
Did you select your XDR-R1 under the MIDI In-port and Out-port for the mapping that you use?

Welcome on board.

Does your Control button (in Traktor) light up, when press buttons or move knobs on the XDR?
Then this!

Open traktor´s preferences, go to CONTROLLER MANAGER.
On the top right of this page, you can set the midi outs & ins. Make sure both is set to the XDR!
