I want to learn playing trumpet!!!

Hi, howdy,
Hey everyone my name is Martin and I love to play musical instruments but the only two I know how to play right now are the digital drums and the Piano, I am the master in playing guitar. Now i want tips for playing trumpet. Is anyone here who knows how to play trumpet and who master in playing trumpet.

don’t know how to play trumpet but this is djtechtools so you should consider learning on one of these

It would be mad if you ran a huge bass synth with it for driving Drum n Bass… If you had a looper and could layer sounds you could create some crazy stuff with this a few drum loops and a foot controller like a ā€œkeith mcmillan softstepā€ to trigger clips… If I had any musical ability this would be the avenue I would take before all others as breath control would be the most intuitive out of anything else I assume, and perfect for looped basslines.

I think your on the wrong forum we are djs and producers not trumpeters

and if your trolling your doing it wrong

But i just ask a question nothing else. Trumpet is related to the music and the music is somewhere related to the DJ’s so where i was wrong on here?:scream:

You are right i was wrong

No MYE, Please dont get me wrong.

i am really confused i am going to leave it

Bring on the trumpets

Random thread … what the hell, trumpets are great (but not as great as cowbells).

Holy shitballs n babyjebus that’s awesome.

^and yea no such thing as too much cowbell

THE NEW DUBSTEP
im not trolling or being mean:slight_smile:

Hey - I’m a trumpeter professionally. I perform and teach. If you’re looking for some advice or a place to start or something, pm me.

If you’re looking for example of Trumpet/Electronic Wind Instrument (EWI) on stage, you should definitely check out the German tech-house Duo AKA AKA and their Trumpeter Thalstroem.

Trumpet from 3:30 here:

And their intro with an EWI here:

or if you happen to find a few more talented brass musicians (caution - bad sound quality)

trumpets? go go go!!!

Sound familiar? Check out 3:23.

Just like djing (or anything really) it takes lots and lots of hard work and practise. I have been playing brass instruments since the age of 7 (I’m now 26) and I would now say that I’m a fairly decent player. If you’re serious about it, find a local teacher in your area and have a few lessons. It will be hard, and you will get frustrated, but if you have the passion and commitment to do it you will stick at it and get good at it. I would definitely plan on getting some music theory lessons as well, helps immensely in getting to know everything!

I find it hard to compare DJing to playing an instrument… they’re totally different ball games.

This is the Off Topic forum… Troll.

Look up Timmy Trumpet. He tours with the Stafford Brothers… If you don’t know who the Stafford Brothers are, you are at the wrong place.
