The last part and the middle (non-cowbell) are definitely the most interesting to listen to. I’d definitely harness the spirit of those two sections going forward. I know it’s hard to scrap the meat of the track, so feel free to take my opinion with a grain of salt. Everyone’s tastes are different! Definitely better than what I can come up with right now.

Yea not a big fan of the cowbell parts but the bass and synth are solid and the vocal hook is infectious!

thanks for the tips - yeh i decided to take out the cow bells, and add some rough background atmospheric sounds to add some grit to the track instead
