iCue Music Mixing Station - Mac?

I have just purchased the *ion iCue music mixing station. I own a mac and on the ion site (http://ionaudio.com) it says that this item is compatible with mac’s. But everywhere else people say it isnt. Youtube also says that it isnt but there is some type of software / program that can make it work. Is that true?

Please someone help me out here…

Does it say Mac compatible on the box, manual or computer spec?
I think it’s windows ‘out the box’ but can download the software in mac version, might be wrong though (it uses virtual DJ so get that in mac format and you should be cool)
