Ideas for DJ Intros?

Ideas for DJ Intros?

Need some ideas for scripts for DJ intros, I’m getting quite a few about 5 I think. Their mainly for Mixtapes and gigs!

Few ideas I got…

You are now in the mix with Alex Mac
You are now live in the mix with Alex Mac
You are now listening to Bristols finest DJ, Alex Mac
You are now listening to Alex Mac listen again at

You are now listening to Alex Mac don’t forget to check him out at Facebook

What does everyone think, I csn gd either Mans voice or ku da sexy lady voice haha not sure which ones to put with which voice?

If you are in for a party, then hang around as Bristol’s finest DJ Alex Mac will crank it up!

Or something like that. Don’t just the standard ‘You are now…’ transcript.

I had a typical “Youre in the house with DJ BC6” which was cool. I had another drop done that says " Ladies and Gentlemen grab your glow sticks put on your dancing shoes cause youre rocking with DJBC6" (I know kinda corny huh). I like the first one Youre in the house with Alex Mac, number 4&5 are too long

I had a good one made where it went something like “Wake the fuck up Chicago, the Murk City DJs are in the building… All drunk women report to the dj booth immediately… That means now…”

There was some reverb and a few low pitched repeats of the lines but yeah you get the point.

Then I realized I was a complete douche bag and stopped using it. It did sound cool though.

Use a woman’s voice and drop the “now”

have alteast one of the liners something fun and nonstandard.

I wrote radio copy for a few years and produced and edited a fair share of commericals.

“Airhorn airhorn airhorn dj khaled”

That ALWAYS works.

:joy::joy: THIS!!!

Are you absolutely SURE that you are Bristols finest DJ?

< See here…

Only joking mate - I’m rubbish.

See 0:34.

The idea behind hiring a DJ for DJ services is “entertainment”. So DJ should start their introduction with some humor as it is said that “Well Begin is half done”. And the most important quality for DJ is that he should know how to play with the crowd.

I always enjoy MC GQ’s intro of Andy C:

“Are you ready for the one they call the executioner - are you ready for the ultimate bad boy - Andy CCCCCC!”

I just use ma voice, hello, good evening, blah de bla, introduce some humour that way, much better.
