IDJ2 (as mixer) + traktor pro + Kontrol X1 = possible?

Hey guys,

I have an existing iDJ2 which for me is very portable to bring around for gigs. But now I want to incorporate Traktor Pro in my setup. I am planning to buy Kontrol X1 and Audio 4 DJ and use iDJ2 as my mixer. Is this possible?

If not, i plan to sell my iDJ2 and get a VCI-100 SE. Will this be a good move?

I might be wrong on this but in my opinion, the IDJ2 doesn’t look professional to bring around and i see it as a “toy”. Correct me guys if my perception is wrong.

iDJ2 has midi output via usb, therefore may work out quite well as a mixer in t-Pro.
for 2 deck mixing i’d personally recommend the vci!

but give the iDJ2 a try for you setup!
