Panic over…

I still don’t see why people would want to use IE when there are plenty of other browsers around. I don’t think there is a single aspect of IE that I prefer.

Only advantage I cant think of is that you don’t need to install it and that’s hardly an advantage.

Vimium makes Chrome the best browser on the planet…or, well…any other browser that has a port of Vimium as well…I haven’t looked because once I found that, I stopped giving a s*** about anything else. And I was a die-hard Safari user because it felt faster than Chrome and Firefox…until I installed vimium and I didn’t have to use the mouse anymore.

Seriously…you have no idea how long you wait around moving the mouse to links until you don’t have to do it anymore. Now, if only people would move away from flash, I’d be set.

ill look into vimium

mostapha, i love you

i downloaded the extension

and i think im going to be pissed when i cant use it on other peoples computers.

oh wait, i have a portable version of chrome on a flash drive that syncs EVERYTHING with my main browser.

geeks fuck yeah

i think i might change some of the settings on it, but thats it.

i also use smooth gestures

and i LOVE it.

i love this extension SO MUCH

2 qustions: whats insert mode? as far as i can tell it just disables commands so you can type and can i deselect text boxes? i suppose there would really be no shortcut for that :disappointed:

wow the Vimium extension is great. seems to work perfect unless gmail is a tab. once your tab reaches gmail, the shortcuts don’t work.

time to make a MIDI mapping of this google extension!! jkkkkk

I do agree that IE sucks… but it all was a hoax. To me, that makes it even funnier that CNN, BBC and many more fell for it.

Luddites gonna ludd

I asked my mum and dad why they preferred IE over firefox or chrome even though they were miles better. They said that they hate change etc

I am currently a firefox ‘fanboy’, but I’ll give this vimium thing a go.

Doesn’t chrome keylog you though?

hence; panic over…

:stuck_out_tongue:

wow… that is epic! i HATE having to use a mouse.

all my work-work is done with ssh+screen+vim :stuck_out_tongue:

i have to give vimium a go…

Well…you know why Windows has IE built into it…right?

So you have something to download Firefox with…

HAHAHAHAHA lmao.

Ya im a chrome boy. Vimium looks cool though must check it out.

my only complaint so far is that you can only open one link in a new tab, the next one you try to open in a new tab will open in the current one.

that drives me crazy when im opening multiple threads, but ill cope

i found that this only happens if i use ‘shift’

using caps lock just keeps opening things in new tabs. problem solved
