Some friends and I are climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa in January. (This is not a joke – I’m really doing it. Bought the boots and everything…). It’s in support of The Penny Brohn Cancer Centre, and in memory of our friend Gary Haynes who died of Cancer in August of last year aged 33. We have recently set up a JustGiving page for sponsorship:

Best of luck to you. I climbed Mt. Washington in New Hampshire last February. Not the tallest or most remote mountain in the world but some of the worst weather. World record wind gust of 263 mph was recorded there. Best day of the season last year was -45 windchill lol. Mountaineering is a blast and you are going to be addicted.
