Im confused with my setup need help please

So my current setup i have is numark mixtrack pro connected to my laptop and A pair of APS15 to the back of the mixtrack pro using both out put 1 and output 2. I know no that the ouput 2 on the mixtrack pro is for cueing/ monitering . so here goes my question. How do i connect the 2nd APS15 without using the output 2 ? I have heard aout a RCA splitter but i dont really know what that is . Sorry if its a stupid question

You probably will want to purchase 2 of these: [ame=“Amazon.com”]Amazon.com: RCA Splitter Male to Female: Electronics@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/419obQWWU8L.@@AMEPARAM@@419obQWWU8L[/ame] (or similar)

Excuse my stupidity but how exactly would i connect these ?

Well if your first output on the controller is a set of rca’s you would plug one of these into each and then plug your other devices into the split set.

Basically you end up with 2 feeds for each channel if that makes sense.

I’m having a hardtime understanding it

Does this simple drawing help?

Device on left bottom is your first stereo pair
Device on right bottom is your second stereo pair

“Deck” would be your controller.

uhhh, you dont need a splitter. Just connect an RCA cable (red and white) from output 1 to each speaker (red to the right, white to the left).

edit: unless iv horribly misunderstood this?

Oh APS15 are speakers - my apologies - Conall is correct - you should just be able to hook that to the output of the mixtrack.

Please describe in more detail the problem you are having. you should be able to run the outputs to each speaker and still be left with a headphone cueing jack unless I misunderstand the MTPRO.

yes i know thats how i have it out put 1 is connected straight to the rca line in but iwant to connect the second aps 15 without using the out put 2 in hte mixtrack if thats possible

Here is the back of the MTPRO:

You should be able to hook the output #1 red to left and output #1 white to right.

Not sure I follow why you are lacking ports for a stereo pair?

EDIT: just hook white to white and red to red from output #1 to each APS15. You only need one color to each PA speaker.

This is how i have it my setup i want to connect the other aps 15 without using the output 2. NOw how do i do that ?

1 cable per speaker. the speaker is mono.

Would i need RCA still or RCA to xlr

RCA → RCA is fine. You are over thinking this!

Can you make a quick diagram so i can fully understand
