Yes I have been hearing this as well…
I get a little pop in normal mode when touching the jog wheels after loading a track occasionally. Not impressed! Solution please? Also, Can we expect midi map 1.2.1 soon?
a pop when going into juggle mode? never heard of it- but there is a chance that a command may cause a CPU spike which would create a pop in traktor.
Please remember that while this may happen, it has nothing to do with the controller but would only be if:
you latencey is set too low
your sound card is of poor quality
computer is too slow
not enough ram
the first thing you should do is raise your latencey setting and see if that fixes the problem. If yes- then you need to improve 2-4.
I do have the latency set quite low. I’ll try raising it a bit and see what happens. What do you recommend? I am running a souped up to the max imac so I doubt very much its a computer issue.
Thanks
im gonna try to lower the latency too, and see what happens, cant have that popping sound ![]()
What I discovered was that the popping sound only occured in my headphones but not to the master volume.
I played a track then recorded it in traktor and turned juggle mode on and off several times and it was popping as usual. But when I listened to the recording the popping sound wasn’t there. I guess thats better but it is still kind of distracting when mixing.
I have this issue, and I’m running an Intel Core2 Quad 2.4 GHz, 8 GB of RAM, 10k RPM SATA drives in a RAID 0 stripe, and an NI Audio 2 DJ on Windows 7 Enterprise x64. Of course, everything is subjective but I don’t think this is a performance issue. I tried adjusting my latency to the max setting, just to see if that was the issue and it didn’t help. I even tried running on the 32 bit version of Windows 7.. no dice. I turned off midi out in Traktor controller setup, and the problem went away. I was in the process of trying to re-work my juggle LED mapping so I could get still get LED feedback for everything else, and I found this post.
This completely resolved the issue for me. I was a little worried about this increasing my latency, but I’m getting 1.5 ms in Traktor with no issues. Bigups to hurundi for posting this fix.
