In the time it took me to make a clever title, a sucker was born.
The Blackbody
I’ll whip up a painter’s bucket, throw a nice texture on it, some lead for weight (because heavy things are expensive) and slap a 1000 USD price tag on it. All you have to do is put your head inside the bucket and listen to your favorite tunes. The difference in sound will boggle your mind! 
I’m thinking the site is a parody.
Well that looks like $1000 well spent.
If it’s fake, somebody spent a lot of time doing a good design and writing all that text.
Everything sounds right to me in theory… but in practice I don’t think those electromagnetic reflections affect the gear so much. But who knows…
I’ve got 2. They are fantastic. Even silence sounds better as long as they are correctly positioned relative to the source of the silence.
