Indian summer house and a bit of disco mix
Hi guys,
although we’ve officially had the worst summer of all time in Holland, we try to keep our spirits up and hope for an indian summer. Let’s hope this mix will help a hand…

From your wikipedia link: “In the Netherlands it is sometimes called “oudewijvenzomer” or “sint-michielszomer” (“St. Michael’s Summer”), although the term “nazomer” (“late summer”) is used more.”
“oudewijvenzomer” means old shrew’s summer by the way, isn’t that nice
Very smooth climb in your set . Your track selection seemed careful, your mixing suited the genre. It’s all about adaptation, keep up the good job!

Thanks! I totally agree these tracks work best as a smooth mix, I used just a couple of subtle effects and a few loops. Maybe next time I’ll put up a more uptempo mix with more use of the sampledecks.

And I thought by Indian Summer you mean the festival in Broek op Langedijk…
Haven’t heared you’re mix yet, but are going too.
Will let you know.

That’s funny, close to your hometown I see… Did you go? Is it a nice festival?
