Internet Radio - What do you LISTEN to?

Internet Radio - What do you LISTEN to?

So pretty simple. There are a lot of internet radio stations out there. Some seem like they are a flash in the pan, but some having some staying power.

What do you guys actually listen to? Not what you perform on, unless you realistically listen to that station as well.

Personally when I want Dubstep/Grime, I tune into filth.fm on my iPhone. And when I want some of the harder stuff, I listen to fear.fm on my iPhone. (At home I don’t usually listen to internet radio honestly). Most of my internet radio listening these days is during my commute to work or events.

What are some of the radio stations you listen to? I’d like to expand my arsenal a bit, figured this would be the place to ask.

SSradioUK all day. Or Groovera Jet City Lounge if I’m feeling romantic.

http://www.purple-radio.co.uk for an eclectic mix of a bunch of stuff.

Digitally imported, there’s nothing better.

I love Di.FM but, SSradioUK has live DJ’s 90% of the time. Checkout Seamless Sessions show and Grant Nelson’s Housecall.

rinse.fm

Indeed…listened to them for years now, though I also tune into Proton Radio - they play some wildly alternative EDM.

Nu-Rave Radio
Flex FM
Renegade Radio
SSRadio Deep & Soulful

NSBradio (Nuskoolbreaks)

I’ve been a long time listener & had the chance to DJ so have done for the last 3+ yrs

moomba+ radio

Like 100 different stations on pandora, always throws me a few tunes i haven’t heard

bassdrive is what I listen to the most, I really like trying to catch Random Movements and few others sets. i like dubstep.fm a bit, especially Dank Dealz spot. I’ve been listening when the mood for some house to Proton Radio for a long time, they don’t do live sets but always have a great mix tape playing.

I love Slacker Radio’s “Indie Electronic” station. It aligns perfectly with the music I love right now.

I occasionally use digitally imported, but love the fact that both offer a “free” service both online and as an app on my smartphone.

+1 for di.fm. Been using it for about 8 years and haven’t had much of a reason to look elsewhere

you guys keep bringing up di.fm but which station? they have like 10 channels??? which channel do you like?

Progressive for me these days, the Chillout channel used to be great, not sure if the same fellow is running it or not anymore. TRance I think its quite popular.

I rarely ever listen to a channel just running individual tracks. There are tons of weekly (or biweekly, or monthly, or whatever) shows on DI that I like and listen to regularly (Yoshitoshi Radio, Blind Spot, Wasabi, Transitions, etc etc - enough to fill most of the week just with scheduled stuff) and if its an odd hour I’ll just scroll through the channels of genres I like looking for one playing a mix (or the DJ mixes channel). Once you find some radio shows that you like its a lot easier to sort out.

Used to listen to chillstep.info but it seems to be down now? Or they’re updating. I’ll check out some of the ones you guys posted.

DI. I also listen to a lot of podcast all the time.

Gravy.fm is something I listen to cause my friends contribute.

I listen to wefunkradio a lot. Good show for old school funk, breaks, underground hip hop, etc.
