Internet Radio
I’m interested in hosting a show on an internet radio station from my home studio. Any of you cats out there looking for or got their fingers in any pies and could point me in the right direction? I’ve sent out a bunch of e-mails to various stations but haven’'t had a a lot of response. Promo in my sig below.

We’re UK based (but have DJs in Canada/US as well, and are up for anybody joining the fun) and very eclectic, from disco to house to techno to breaks to whatever the hell you’d like.
If you’re interested go to the webiste, create and account and post in the Get Involved forum - throw a link to a mix into the post to give blackie (the boss man) an idea of your style and we’ll go from there.
I gave up finding a good online radio. Or it’s top 40 (which is not what i’m looking for) or i don’t get any replies.

Just curious how many listeners you usually bring in? I found biggest problem is getting listeners. I’ve done shows with transfixation and serious sounds but try all seem to lack the listener base which is not a big deal but curious as to how many you guys usually attract

I’ve joined and PMed the admin. 
varies between a couple of dozen and half a dozen, for my alternate Tuesdays which goes out from 10-midnight. The variance is usually determined by how much I pimp the show.

Ya self promotion I always found was key unless well known station. Are you guys using a shoutcast server?

Yup - I use the Shoutcast DSP plugin from winamp for it.

Hey dude. I am already a member of Purple Radio and have had a mix put on rotation on the station but I’m looking for a regular show that I can do Live. If you can do anything to link me up I’d appreciate it.
