I did a quick mini-review on DJF. TL/DR version is that it works great, and it WAY more powerful than I initially thought it would be. This app (and a lump of disposable income) is a great argument for 2 iPads.

two questions:
does it work in windows?
how does it connect to the computer? does it need additional connection software?
Yes, it works in Windows. It requires a server to run on the Ableton machine, and the iPad connects to it via WiFi.
cheers, think i’ll have a good look into getting this! Is their any noticable latency? or would you actually be able to play out a and record a beat on the pads?
Finally got this app.
Looks very cool , works pretty damn smoothly,latency is very low (you can’t feel it with an ad-hoc connection), and support team super friendly and efficient (couldn’t connect the app the first time, but they fixed my issue super quickly).
Too bad there is no XY pad, but they say it is coming in the next update so…
I ll keep my apc40 because i just bought it but…well, actually both together is the best combination ever
According to touchAble people the app is coming for android Q1/2011.
I doubt that android tablet will be better than ipad…touchAble on iPad made my dream come true, so …don’t care about android sutffs 
But there are going to be a lot of tablets out shortly, and a lot of them will be running Android, so this information will probably be interesting to others.
To me it is…
apple stuff it’s so damn expensive here at Brazil!
I don’t really care about an apple tablet, I just want the multi touch software Touch OSC…
