Would somebody PLEASE explain to me why developers think it is necessary to make the interface look like two TTs? Lets hope someone get serious about mixing on the iPad and makes a program that is useful instead of “pretty”.
Phil.
Looks like DJAY…
What are the outputs? How would I connect it to a system / soundcard to cue up tracks?
I suspect none of these questions to be answered ![]()
I think that this app will be more of a novelty app than a real solution, but there will be more solutions coming online.
OT, and enter the new digital DJ arguement. How long will it take before someone showing up to a gig with only an iPad becomes acceptable? You know it’s going to happen, but could it be acceptable?
DJPhaidon, in answer to your OT: its just your Lemur without a laptop…
IMHO, if the place is going nuts, its all good.
Phil.
The day I buy the Ipad is the day I can get the JazzMutant Lemur working perfect thru some crazy hack.
Can’t say I didn’t see it coming lol. If they can make something which works over ethernet (yes, it would be rather simple to make a dongle just like they did with the SD card adapter) and sends signal to program interfaces much like a Lemur, I’d consider getting one.
it’s just so expensive for what you are getting. if you want a awesome touch interface grab a multitouch monitor and usine and get to work…
When can I show up to a gig and rock a set on my Kindle? ![]()
Same makers of idjay? I think it would be awesome for mobile gigs to DJ with Traktor Pro/Ipad.
