Is it possible to display numerical info from Traktor on a Machine display ?

Hey !

I made my own maschine mk2 mapping and controller editor template (botstein helped me a bit)
So far I can see the phase of a track or the position of the playhead on my displays but I’d really like an indication of BPM as well. Just as much info as possible so I can put the laptop as far away as possible.

  1. I 'm not even sure there is a way, but what would come close ?
  2. What are some other cool/useful features you can display that people might not know about ?
  3. Is there someone that might want to write a custom script and hack it so that this is possible ? (there 's something I’d kickstart)
  4. What’s the most efficient way to tell NI that I want this ?

  1. HID and Sysex hacking.
  2. You can either display numbers or little bars that fill and empty as you turn the encoders.
  3. I was doing this a bit, but it’s not profitable.
  4. There isn’t one that I know of - it’s a smaller company than some might guess and it’s definitely not at the top of their list.

How exactly ? I 'm assuming with controller editor but in which drop down menu is it ?
