Is Native Instruments coming up with a new dj software?

traktor pro is 50% off right now and i dont know if is worth it to buy when it feels like native instruments is releasing a new one. http://www.native-instruments.com/#/en/products/dj/traktor-pro/

last i checked its all sold out

last i checked sale ended 31st december regardless of being sold out or not

i just checked the link. it still says 50% off

weird

an ad in RA said 31st March :S anyway, it’s sold out

also makes me wonder if they got into liquid capital problems and needed to generate some cash. for all we know the s4 could have run into major production problems and required a much larger influx of cash than they were initually prepared to handle.

i dont understand how an online download gets sold out.

i dont think i ever will.

what does this look like? the free version of a sound cloud account?

fuck…its 1 am. my last couple of posts on here have been a bit odd. i need sleep.

to answer your question, yes NI will come up with a new traktor version, which will implement the sample decks of the TproS4 soft. probably will come out in feb..

The download isnt sold out…

right, only Traktor Scratch Pro is.

only the audio 4 and audio8 bundle deals are sold out.

With some luck even earlier

I was just browsing around the NI products and ran across this:

“In the near future, S4 users will have the option to connect their preferred analog turntables or CDJs to control pitch, scratching, and transport functions for the S4 software. External timecode control via TRAKTOR SCRATCH will open up even more opportunities for creative mixing, fusing the already advanced features of the S4 with the full expressiveness of the traditional turntable / CDJ approach.”

So, with this and the recent TA2/6/10 development, I think we’re in for an upgrade very soon.

pretty sure that info was all in the original press release for the s4

yup
