Is this an appropriate expansion component?

Hi there,

I am just researching components at the moment. I have been looking for continuous encoder knobs with push button functionality. Have I found the right part in the following link?. If it is appropriate, would the encoder be connected to digital, and then the push button to analog expansion inputs.

Hi Nick,

Encoders are not supported by the midifighter without firmware modification.
The push button would connect to the digital as would the encoder.
