It really annoys me when…
DJs post mixes of other producer’s material and do not give them credit. There are countless number of youtube mixes with millions of plays that don’t name the artist/song. This goes for soundcloud too…
yep. always post tracklistings. that being said, i have a couple tracks that i would list as untitled track… im playing one at tonights gig like that.
the thing with youtube is - sometimes if you explicitly list the songs used in the mix, they will REMOVE your video for copyright things
i remember posting a short mix before on youtube with a tracklist and just hours later the record label of one of the tracks reported to youtube that i was violating “blah blah blah” and removed the video
so whats the go in this situation?
