Every software is supported except Itch.
It depends on how you look at it. It supports whatever software you want - Itch is the only one that happens to be tied to hardware. Can’t fault Vestax for that.
they must have to pay serato licensing or something for itch certified controller or something. Maybe in an effort to keep the price low they avoided it.
serato intro is like serato itch le, so its really not a “big blow” and really as an itch user myself there really isnt anything the vci400 offers that isnt offered by several other itch controllers. other then if youre a fan of vestax there really isnt much to be disappointed by it not being a fully licensed itch controller
After thinking about it some more, you’re actually 100% correct DiezDiaz. Main thing that attracts me to the VCI-400 is the size. Portability is a huge factor for me because I travel and will be travelling a lot. DX was most portable controller I settled on and I still love it!
Serato designs a version of Itch specifically for each controller (see my post in the other VCI-400 thread); The itch contrllers that exist are not “itch certified”; they are itch controllers, meaning they are designed with Itch in mind, and the features of one don’t translate exactly to another. I expect Serato will eventually get things sorted so there is one version of Itch/Scratch that works on whatever. But it may take a while.
