ITM competion wanting “deep and melodic… under 128bpm”… Ideas?

The competition states it wants something deep, melodic and definitely below the 128bpm mark…
What are some genres or songs that would fit this? I’m a little clueless about what kind of stuff they are looking for

deep house deep disco. I think it’s silly to attempt to define a genre by BPM. Sure the majority of one kind of genre may be close to a certain BPM, but that doesn’t mean it all has to be that way.
Pretty much anything in the progressive or house vein could be described as “deep and melodic”. And let’s not knock genrefication based on BPM, Moombahton would be screwed otherwise
Well i feel that the majority of house is 128, moohbahton is 108, while then you have dubstep which is 70/140 and hardstyle which is like 140+
So i feel that most genres have a range of bpms.
So progressive and deep house it is seems would be ok then? but isnt progressive generally over 128?

More than anything they’re looking for a good warm up DJ, regardless of genre. Just focus on putting together a good warm up mix
Agreed they are trying to find someone (who won’t cost much) to be a warmup dj, which it seems is going the way of the dodo…
