Ive hit the jackpot on free shit.

My dad (yes i still live at home) announced to me this morning he was wanting to set up a home studio, and showed me pictures of shit on the internet of what he wanted. I turned around and said, ive got most of this shit? ableton live, audio 8 s/card mixers, APC40, the lot!

So he came out to my garage (where the shit is) had a look, i showed him how it would all happen. “plug your guitar in here, and mic in here..”

I said to him, you can use all this when im out at work on one condition, you buy me a studio laptop and a new mixer (mine is behringer, no need for comments)

So hes looking at buying me(us) second hand mac laptop (which ill be borrowing for gigs obviously) and possibly a korg zero 4 or a good 2 channel mixer around that price.

kind of like when my son was bugging me about needing (wanting) a new guitar and I pulled up the Gretsch I was planning on buying him. Told him to keep his grades up and mouth shut till Christmas and it was his. All A & B’s and not a word for a month so far.
