James Zabiela masterclass and interview
He mentions that he uses the traktor effects under ableton. Is that a vst from NI or something like that? I am sure he is not just routing the traktor audio through ableton as he doesn’t mention it at all in the video.

everything i’ve seen with zabiela he comes across as a nice, humble person.

Watched it live, I wouldn’t say it was a masterclass… He just explained what the stuff he uses does…
Guitar Rig (which runs as a VST) has an add-on pack with most of the Traktor 2 effects.
Never heard them, but I suppose they’d sound like they should.
It has 12 out of 30 effects so i wouldn’t say most. Still it covers the most frequently used (except filter 92 and flanger) and sound like they should.

Thanks for posting this. great to see his setup. i kept giggling a bit every time Tong asked about the cdj 2000’s James seemed to not actually use them that much, mainly just to grab loops off tracks i guess and kept going back to ableton.
