I dont think there is one, also those Korg Nano’s do horrible things to your signal strength and quality. I keep away fom external effects processors like he plague personally.
Fair enough - I think the filter on it is great and I use the white noise a fair bit they both sound cool, it is cheap though but wouldnt call it a toy.
Think i’ll grab one of these nanopads though, what Zabiela does with it sounds good - anyone know how he’s got it mapped?
Buy 1 Korg padKontrol - $149
-XY touch pad
-2 Knobs
-16 Pads (4 for each deck… or something)
-Change Midi layout on controller
-Some other buttons I don’t understand
-Disadvantage:
-Larger
Buy 1 nanoPad - $59
-XY touch pad
-12 Pads (3 for each deck… or 4 for each effect?)
-Small size
-Could get 2 for less than 1 padKontrol
-Disadvantage:
-Could use 2, but that’s another USB Port taken
Also, has anyone looked at the other Korg nano stuff? NanoKey or the NanoKontrol?
Okay, so call me an impulse buyer, but I already bought the NanoPad. I was already seriously considering the KontrolPad, but didn’t want the extra size and weight… The small size factor and at just $57 on DJDeals.com I couldn’t resist… I’ll give it a review when it arrives.
But still, has anyone check out the other nano stuff or are you guys just going to wait another 20 minutes to see if I buy those too?
I picked up a nanokey yesterday to use for hot cues/effect select and any other functions that my numark omni hasn’t got enough buttons for.
OK so it’s not a proper midi keyboard (buttons instead of piano style keys), but for the money I’m happy. The Korg website also has a cool download to remap the midi signals (change midi channel) which I found after spending ages trying to find out how the F to do it. It fit’s flush to the bottom of my 13" Macbook too!
