Jersey Shore Soundtrack is great CD!!

Believe it or not, The Jersey Shore soundtrack is actually a pretty good collection of dance songs. I know Pauly D gets hated on because of his not so great DJ skills but check out these tracks. Alot of them you probally already heard. But it’s another indication that dance music is becoming more mainstream when MTV releases a CD like this one…

  • Jersey Shore Soundtrack Track List
  1. Enrique Iglesias ft. Pitbull, “I Like It”

not bad. till i got to the bonus track (yeah, ive heard it before…)

“Being a guido is a WAY OF LIFE.” Haha I actually played that song for a few friends just to make everyone laugh, which was exactly what it did.

Die Atzen are on the Jersey Shore Soundtrack? Surprised and at the same time NOT surprised.

Anyway, talking about surprisingly good soundtracks, my three favourites are still the one for the 1998 “Lost In Space” movie:

  • Soul Coughing & Roni Size: A Plane Scraped Its Belly On A Sooty Yellow Moon

not surprised by the content of the Jersey Shore soundtrack, since the Jersey Shore area where the show had its genesis is all about house/dance/club music in the summer. I mean the whole way of summer life that the show is based on depends entirely on going out to hear house music. Let the proud (sometimes not so much…) tradition of Djais, Temps, Headliner, etc. live on!

the crystal method used to make some BOMBS!!!..

The CD tracklist really doesnt surprise me at all. All very commercial tunes which was expected but could of been alot worse especailly being MTV. So did Pauly D produce this monster of a track or just put his lyrical mastermind to the test and create this classic to be?

i dont know lol

if you want, i could post the link?
but ill only do it upon request because i dont want to give attention to his youtube channel lol

Hell no, I hate that clown. He gives all us legit DJ’s a bad name. You know he had someone ghost-write and ghost-produce and ghost-mix that track… He doesn’t need any exposure. Except maybe negative.

legit djs use controllers

wwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa???

i kid i kid. (i have one of the most toy looking controllers out there and i rock that shit like a pro…most of the time)

like

Honestly, from the title of this thread I thought this had to be a joke, especially after the music I’ve heard so far on the show but I guess this really is the state of the music scene today. “What happened to the underground?”

i had that cd, it kicked ass. man people who missed that era don’t know what they’re missing…
