Hi guys I’ve searched everywhere about this topic and i couldn’t find answers to my questions. #1 i recently imported the jogwheels fx mapping by DJTT which i love. My qquestions are is there a way i can change the 3 presets that came with the mapping. Second question is what are some good effect combinations. Im having a hard time finding the right effects that wont clash. Thanks in advance
Each of jogFX presets are based on several commands:
FX Unit Mode - set unit mode to ether group of three effects or a single effect with three parameters for advanced control.
Dry/Wet
Knob 1
Knob 2
Knob 3
Unit On - visible only in single effect mode.
Button 1
Button 2
Button 3
FX 1 Selector
FX 2 Selector
FX 3 Selector
So basically the way to change your effect target can be done by tweaking value of your FX Selector for each of the FX presets.
When designing this kind of FX chains you need to concentrate on a single (main) effect and then experiment with adding secondary effects that would ether give the main effect more space (delays, reverbs) or some that gives a color to them (peak, format, drive, filters etc).
